Bangor University Hockey Club (mens section) (BUHC) is a hockey club. It consists of 3 competitive mens teams (1s & 2nd XI play in the Kukri North West Hockey League 3 & 10 South respectively. The 3rd XI play in the Glyndwr University North Wales Hockey League Division 1). The club currently consists of over 50 members, and play their home games at Maes Glas,[1][2] on a Hybrid (TigerTurf) Astroturf.

The 1st XI currently compete in the Kukri North West Division 3[4] where the club plays both university and club sides. Bangor University Mens 1st XI also compete in the BUCS North West Division 3[5] where the club solely competes against other university sides. The team also competes in 2 cup competitions the North Wales Premier Cup and the BUCS Northern Conference Cup.[2]
After the huge success of the 2nd team and the large intake of members that formed a stable 3rd XI to continue in the Glyndwr University North Wales Hockey League, the club decided to move the 2nd XI into the Kukri North West Divisions.[4] The 2nd XI have shown that their superiority to the restof the teams at the half way point; they've accumulated 31 points from a possible 33 scoring 93 and conceding 9! The 3rd XI are currently performing very well in the North Wales League and sit in the top half of the table.
